I (Spottedpelt) padded across the crearing to the fresh kill pile. It was pittifully small.

Spottedpelt looked into the young warrior's blue eyes. For a second she got lost, but then she stood straight. "I see a traitor." she scowled to his face. A breeze moved her beautiful pelt and she growled at hawkfrost.

I crouched down beside you and picked out a vole and began to eat

I stared at him. "If you're calling me disloyal you better stop," I growled, my fur starting to bristle. Then I quickly stopped myself. "I care about my cats, my clan and the code. I just think that you don't. That's why i'm doing this. You can't prove yourself." I said watching him eat away at the little food we had.

"who says I can't prove myself" he growled with the most anger spottedpelt ever heard. "you call me a traitor? listen to yourself your the only cat in this clan who says I'm a traitor" I said even more angry than before. you were even starting to doubt that you should've even said your words.

barring his teeth at spottedpelt he trotted off in the other direction. now I'm hunting at snake trees.

Spottedpelt hissed as he walked away. "Mouse skull!!" she spat in an annoyed tone. "Yah! Go off and prance around in Fireclan territory! I'll make sure they know what a foul cat you are!" she said throwing the unfinnished vole behind him.

I whipped aroud it seemed as though I was about to claw your face but I didn't instead I crouched beside you again. "I'm not a FIRECLAN cat I'm a fernclan cat well at least one of us is" I spat.

I hissed in fury. Every hair on my pelt bristled. I hissed again and my claws kneaded the dirt. "You piece of crowfood wouldn't know anything about being a Fernclan cat. You accepted this horrible name with open paws! How could a cat look up to you? How can you look up to yourself?" I asked with more sadness than anger. "I expected you to grow into a wise warrior. One who never lets go of our ansestors...the past." I said gently, sadness clouding my amber eyes. I leaped away out of the camp.

" oh, spottedpelt. what am I going to do with you?" I said in a whisper.

I leaped out of camp and all the way out, heading to the stream. Once I got there, I sat down and neatly tucked my tail over my paws. I looked into the stream for a long time. I wished to pray to Starclan but I knew I was not one blessed like Firestar, destined to be a leader, dreaming of Starclan long before he was a warrior. No, I, was just a cat with her own problems, who could not seek the help of Starclan. I scented pray all around me, but didn't move.

I sat outside waiting for you to come back. I needed to talk to you without hissing and growling. I waited while all the other cats slept I waited for many hours untill my eyes started to hurt.

Finally I drank some water. The sun had set, and I knew I couldn't stay here all night. I wouldn't have enough strength to serve my clan in the morning. I got up and groomed a bit, to shake the leaves off. I stretched and padded back to camp. I came through the gorse tunnel and stepped into the clearing.

I was sitting right in the middle with a plump rabbit I caught myself and I nuged it towards you untill it was right at your paws. the smell was so tempting you just couldn't resist. "I caught it myself. we need to talk without a war".

I looked at the rabbit. I was very hungry, but I knew I couldn't eat that all. "No thank you." I mewed, and brushed past him.
