In the clearing

I snarled at you but just creeped further into willowfur's den.

I growled again and padded to the fresh kill pile to share a vole with Feathersnout.

Willowfur gave me some poppy seeds and pretty much force fed me and started treating my face again.

when it was morning willow fur was still working on my wounds then finished up and "Hawktail go get some rest and no patrol work for today it's to much of a risk you need to rest" she said to me as I awoke."But I have to go on patrol and serve my clan" I siad very frustrated. "As your medicine cat I'm telling you to get some rest. now go" willowfur said as I padded weirdly out of her den and curled up in my nest.

I padded to the warrior's den but quickly trned back as I saw Hawktail. I was completely unplease with him that I couldn't bear to be in the same den. I padded slowly to the nettly clump and lay down.

It was now morning and I woke up to go on hunting patrol.

I caught 1 mouse

I awoke with damp fur and aching bones. I had slept in the nettle clump, and it had drizzled that night. I was in worse condition. I stood up and gave myself a good, crooked stretch then limped over to the fresh kill pile, muttering things to myself like a grumpy old elder. I picked up the fattest vole there was, hogging the kill for myself. I ate it right there, and devoured it in a few savage gulps. I limped to the midddled of the clearing, where it was usually sunny, but thick gray storm clouds covered any rays that would try to shine down on earth. I organized some patrols and then began to groom myself.

"Hello Spottedpelt" I said in a warm voice.

"Greetings Hawktail. Can I help you?" I said focusing my attention on grooming, not making eye contact.

"No but can I help you?" I lied down to share tounges with you then stopped and relized it was weird but still lied down.

((Wait, weren't we mad at eachother?? ))

I scoffed and moved away. Then a pang of guilt hit me as I saw the aching scars on his face. So I improvided "I..uh.. want to get some fresh kill..." I said and leaped to the pile. I grabbed a tiny shrew and a vole. "Here.." I dropped the vole at his paws and sat back, close enough to him to feel the heat rising off him. I ate my shrew in four bites. ((Shrews are really small ))

"It's my face isn't it?" sighs and........sits up.

"I know it's horrible" I added with a tiny chuckle.

"It'll heal. No cat could deny that you're still handsome" I purred comfortingly and licked the healing wounds. I sat down and rasped my tounge over his ear and washed his head.

I ducked my head lower and smiled when you weren't looking. It was the first time I felt loved ever sine the accident.

I quietly finnished grooming, and by now the sun was beginning to set. "Well, I have patrol now. Goodnight." I meowed and fell into the patrol as they headed out the gorse tunnel.

I bursted into the clearing, Rainstorm hissing at my heels. I spat with fury and leaped over to Morningstar's den with the rest of te patrol (Lightningclaw and Feathersnout) following me. We all entered and I yowled loudly. "Those nasty, rotten little-" I silenced myself as Morningstar stepped out. "I have some disturbing news." I scowled. Morningstar nodded and invited me in.

I came out of Morningstar's den looking troubled, and whispered something to the patrol, then dismissed them, and walked over to the nettle clump to groom my unsettled hairs.

"ok" as I licked your head good bye

"Is evrything alright?" I said in a worried voice just hoping that somone would answer me.

I padded up to him and growled under my breath with the patrol growling too. "Fireclan scent on our territory. That's ridiculous! They hunted here and left the scraps for us to freeze our paws burying." I spat

hisses "those traitors!"

"we should raid them then drive them out of the forest! Don't you agree?! We are fighting for survival and for our part of the forest, for FireClan to come and steal our prey then leave the scraps!? They should leave the forest and quick." I snarled with a convincing finish. "We don't fight for survival for FireClan to steal our prey now do we!?" I hissed and paced back and forth looking at the patrol to respond and to hear that I was right.

I sighed. "Morningstar disagrees.." I paused. "We'll have to settle it some how though./ the next gathering is tomorrow night (at school) "A fight ought to teach em!" Yelled Leaftail, who overheard the conversation. "Hey now don't go around slaughtering cats. Who knows, some of the poor cats in that clan will have to suffer because their clanmates. it was two cats, not a patrol" I coldly stared at the ground as muscles rippled under my pacing pelt.

As I was pacing we met face to face and I murmerd under my breath so only you could hear. "We can't let them get away with it we must do something, we can't let them get away with it!" I hissed so low not even you could hear it, but you could see the fire burning in my eyes with fury.

"That's for Morningstar to decide" I said like it was my own decicion. "We can't seek revenge until revenge seeks us. No lesson will come out of this." Pain shot through my glittering eyes and Willowfur ran up to us panting. "I had a dream...a prophecy! Blood will spill, claws and pelt will meet. One clan will struggle and one will defeat.'" She panted, frightened.
"It's ok Willowfur, just got get something to eat, we'll figure it out." I mewed and let her go find a drink. "What does it mean?" I turned to Hawktail and whispered the prophecy over and over.

"I don't know all we know is that it is something bad and it will come unexpectedly if we're not prepared" I said trying to comfort you and myself. "The worst of leafbare is coming Spottedpelt and we NEED to be prepared or bad things will happen I can tell you that".

I laid my head on his shoulder. "I know what's going to happen." I sighed and shut my eyes trying to think back all the good times I'd had in my life. For the first time, I actually shivered in the warmth of another cat.
